The Hills District Pipe Band Annual Ball in 2011
Annually, the Hills District Pipe Band hold a ball to celebrate
the accomplishments of the year; to take an active part in the Castle Hill
community based Hills Festival; to showcase who the Band is and what the Band
is capable of.
In 2011, the Ball is being held on Saturday 10th September, from
7:30pm until midnight, in the Castle Grand, on the corner of Castle and Pennant
Streets, Castle Hill.
Major General Gordon Maitland, AO, OBE, RFD, ED (Ret'd), Patron of the Band, will officially open the Ball.
Tickets: $ 60 per person, obtained from band members
Dress: Formal / Semi Formal
Inclusions: Display by the Pipe Band; The Patron's Award for 2011;
Dancing to The 4 Clansmen; 2 course dinner; Ode to the Haggis, and Haggis
