Whether you have experience or not in Scottish music, the Hills District Pipe Band welcomes anyone who would like to join the band. Our members are experienced tutors, and we are always excited to welcome new pipers and drummers.

If you have a passion for Scottish music and are interested in learning (or reviving) an instrument in a social environment, come along to our weekly band practice!

Band Practice

When: Tuesday nights 7pm-9pm.

Where: The Federation Pavilion, Castle Hill Showgrounds, Castle Hill.

Tuition & Membership

The Hills District Pipe Band provides free tuition with our experienced tutors. Full sets of band uniforms are allocated with a deposit, and some band-owned instruments are available for new members.

Each band member pays an annual membership fee of $80 (concession available), and we have a number of life members.

We hold an Annual General Meeting in May each year, and committee meetings every quarter.
